Experienced, conscientious and reliable herdsperson required on a 160 cow dairy milked in a 20:20 HB parlour.
Cubicle housed on sawdust, straw yard for dry cows.
TMR fed. Block calving.
The successful applicant must meet the highest standard of cleanliness & dairy hygiene.
Good remuneration and time off along with a 3 bed house.
An enhanced DBS check will be undertaken as this is a college farm so must also be confident around students.
Unfortunately we are unable to deal with overseas applicants without the mandatory work permit.
Must have experience working on a dairy farm and be able to provide references

Every other weekend milking twice daily.

Clean and reliable team member required to milk 200 Autumn block cows in a 24:48 swingover parlour twice daily on a 12 on 2 off rota.
Experience working on a dairy farm is a must as milking along with routine maintenance on machinery and parlour equipment is part of the role.
This position would suit someone looking to further their career into an assistant herdsperson and a keen interest in the health and welfare of the herd is paramount.
