Relief Milker wanted, Dorchester, Dorset
Reliable and dedicated relief milker required to help cover a 150 cow dairy until the new herdsperson starts at the end of January 2026.
Flexibility to include one or two weekends and few days a week to fit around the current long term relief staff. Genuine passion for animal welfare and a positive approach to work is needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Milking approximately 140 cows on a 20:20 HB parlour.
Maintaining high standards of cow welfare, cleanliness and parlour hygiene.
Spotting any health concerns and reporting issues promptly.
Supporting smooth daily routines and contributing to a positive farm environment.
Required Skills and Experience:
Previous milking experience essential.
Reliability, attention to detail and a calm and considerate approach to working with animals.
Must be willing to undergo DBS checks before starting as it is on a college site.
